AYU's hearing lost of one ear

Ok, so anyone who knows me knows that i am crazy about ayumi hamasaki, she's my favorite singer and blah blah blah. like i would shit in my pants if she spoke to me,lol. anyways, she has recently lost her hearing abilities on her left ear which may cause her to have problems in future performances. she said on her website that she will not give up and will continue to sing until her right ear also goes deaf,which is impressing i believe. she loves music soooo much she is willing to lose her hearing for it, kinda sad but at the same time very enlgihting i believe. and even though she will never read this, i wish her luck in her future career and health issues as well

The video of the week goes to another ukranian/ russian music act. this time is the famous girl group NU VIRGOS.they used to go by the name VIA GRA before and in russian it means "group play" not horny pills for old men lol. but since they want to branch out of russia and come to europe and US they changed their name to NU VIRGOS.i like their new name more actually. here is my first post of many to come about ukranian and russian singers. This artsist is a ukranian pop singer called asia akhat. she plays the violin and now turned into a pop superstar. This is my favorite song and video by her, its called "i'm the best". Is a very catchy tune, the video reminds me of rihanna's umbrella and her attitude reminds me of thalia, with a violin and wierd choreography this video is a very cool and freshing twist to what always plays on american tv.

Finally! here is the second single by the japanese pop singer ERIKA. i loved her first single "FREE" which is avaible for download on my blog if you just look for it!:) anyways this single is very good, much like her first single. the songs vary from pop to pop/rock, which is her signature sound. i like her first single better becuz it had an extra song called time to go home. this single only has two song, a free remix and an instrumental, but the song destination nowhere and escape are very awesome!!! plus the free remix is not bad :)

i recently heard a song by them titled 1+1=2 and i am in love with the song and their image as a duo, anyways, they are super cool and grrovy and even though i have only liked them since yesterday i still knew who they were for a couple of years, anyways, here's their BIO

Zwei was formed in 2002 after Kera model Ueno Megumi scouted her soon-to-be-vocalist Ayumu at a live house. Ayumu had been in the band Cherry Feel at that time and was doing numerous street performances with them. Megumi approached Ayumu in her dressing room and asked if she would be the vocalist for the band Megumi was starting.

The two didn't make their debut until May 2004, and several months before that Megumi had begun going by the name "Megu" for Kera. In the May 2004 issue of Kera (out in April 2004), Megu officially announced her departure from the magazine with a lengthy article that profiled her modeling career since her debut in June 1999. However, starting in July 2004 Megu was given her own column called "Zwei Megu no Suki desu - Wasshoi" ('Zwei Megu's favorites wasshoi'). This is where Megu got to talk about what she's recently been into, or she would promote new Zwei releases. It appeared in each issue of Kera since then and took up about half of a page. However, this column was ended with the March 2007 issue. Megu has come back on several occasions since leaving the magazine to do special photoshoots.

After their first single Movie Star was released, their second single Watashigai no Uta followed and shortly after its release there was news of a first album. The album, Pretty Queen, was released in October of 2004 and contained both of Zwei's singles and their b-sides. A limited edition and a normal edition were both released. They both had different booklets and the limited edition came with a DVD of three PVs, including Pretty Queen, which was the b-side to Watashigai no Uta.

The duo has continued to release singles on a somewhat steady basis, and in 2005 they began working with Oshima Kousuke, formerly of Wands. On September 2nd, 2006 it was announced they had been transferred to Universal Music Japan.

She is a pop singer from spain, her first album was a success in the spain music charts when it debuted in march 2006. now more than just a year later she returns with her second album titled "ilusion" her music is very pop, but its not cheesy at all. i really like it, in fact im kinda really into it. cant wait to buy the album!!

this is a kpop-jpop girl band that has been a round for a couple of years, but since their first korean debut a couple of months ago with the single "one more time OK!" THEY have exploded and now with a new japanese single called "pirahna" and a korean single named "dancer in the rain". the girls are showing more and more talent as they sing their lungs out while shaking their bodies, im not a fan of them,but this two videos are pretty awesome, especially dancer in the rain!!

Ayu's Glitter/Fated!

Thats right,is coming to that time when ayumi is going to release a new single!!!
This time is going to be called Glitter/Fated, to no surprise is a double A single. I am static because i cannot wait to listen to these new songs, i heard that the songs were already leaked onto the internet but i havent heard them myself, cant wait thou!
Anyways, here are the covers for the Glitter/fated single, I must admit, the close up one reminds me a little to mariah carey in her movie "glitter" but the long shot is beautiful and you can see the beautiful city of Hong Kong in the back,(which is where she filmed her music videos/mini movie)

Well for those who dont know who she is, she is the highest paid female singer in South Korea, She was a member of the pop group Fink.l but since their break up,Hyolee has rised to be a succesful solo singer!! Even an actress in numerous t.v dramas like her latest "if in love like them" Her songs and Cd's are very upbeat and fun, great to dance to!!

Well aside from all of that, there have been afew pictures displaying possible plastic surgery enhancements made to hyolee appearance, i personally sont care, you need to do whatever it takes to be beautiful, no? hehehehehe

That's right!!! this is probably what every american J-rock Fan had been praying for a while...AND NOW, ta-da!!!! Here it is, The magazine that keeps u inform on anything related to J-rock, But in english, no more will u have to go to Hop Topic to buy expensive magazines like "Cure" where you look at the pretty pictures but cant read anything, NOW you can actually read AND look at decent pictures hehehehehehehe
I found it on Barns~n~Noble this week before i was going to work, i was on the magazine section and i saw this two cute japanese rockers and i instantly knew it was PURPLE SKY (name of magazine) I had heard of it by a friend in the past but the issue that she showed me, didnt really impress me, This new issue thou was really good, it had more pictures and even some mini posters!!!!!!! which shows that its becoming more popular and thus they have a bigger budget for goodies!!

AND the price was at a bargain! ONLY $6.00 dollars!!!! thats only a dollar more than your shojo beat magazine!!!!!! hehehehehehehe i was thinking of buying it,but then i thought to myself...MAYBE later hehehe but anyways, here's the official website so you can go check it out, and even maybe subscribe!! lol
